Radon mitigation is a term referring to the techniques used to reduce radon levels in a home or business. The system usually consists of 4 inch PCV pipe connected to a specially designed, long life fan that creates vacumn under the basement floor area, drawing the radon gas up the pipe and out of the home. However, there is much more to radon mitigation than just connecting pipes to a fan.
